BQB certification, the full name of the Chinese name called Bluetooth Qualification (Bluetooth Qualification Bodies), referred to as Bluetooth certification.

The short answer is that if your product is Bluetooth-enabled and bears the Bluetooth symbol (the Bluetooth wordmark and logo) on its exterior and packaging, it must be certified by a programme called BQB. Otherwise, the product will be regarded as infringing by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). The BQB certification for Bluetooth products is one of the basic certification items for Bluetooth products, which is currently managed by SIG.

BQB Certification Approach

1. First, go to the SIG website and purchase a DID (if you are an annual SIG member, you need $4,000 to purchase a DID, if you are not an annual member, you need $8,000 for a DID)

2. Obtain Bluetooth module supplier's authorisation (the Bluetooth module used must be BQB certified, and the authentication method must be end product, or a combination of three subsystems: Controller Subsystem, Profile Subsystem, and Host Subsystem, one of which is indispensable).

3. Bind the purchased DID to the Bluetooth module licence (do this in the SIG account)

4. Each time a new product is produced with this Bluetooth module, just name it under this DID and SIG will assign a QDID to each product.

1. When the Bluetooth module supplier's BQB certification is not end product, nor Controller Subsystem, Profile Subsystem, Host Subsystem three subsystems of the combination, then long can not be used in the way of the column name.

At this time, you need to take the car as a unit, get the third party to carry out BQB certification test, the general situation of the test items are: additional testing Component QDID is not included in the protocol stack, test Profile, test RF performance.

In contrast to the listing method, the non-listing method requires the payment of a SIG purchase fee for the DID and a third-party laboratory testing fee, which typically costs tens of thousands of dollars.

If the Bluetooth module itself is BQB certified, the customer's Bluetooth product can be listed to save a fee.
